- Find the broker’s legal entity & number in the footer or terms.
- Search that number on the official regulator register.
- Match the company name, address, and domain (clone firms often mismatch).
Major Regulators (Overview)
- FCA (UK): strict conduct, client-money rules.
- ASIC (AU): leverage limits, disclosure standards.
- CySEC (CY): EU MiFID passporting, investor warnings.
- NFA/CFTC (US): derivatives oversight, robust enforcement.
